Who Can Appear for Supplementary Exam?
Students who have received compartment in maximum 2 subjects in the CBSE Class 12 main examination are eligible. Students who failed in 3 or more subjects cannot appear for supplementary — they must repeat the year.

August 2026 Update
CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exams 2026 began on July 28, 2026 and will continue till August 8, 2026. Admit cards were released on July 10, 2026 on cbse.gov.in. CBSE has also announced that the LOC submission for 2026-27 session must be completed by August 31, 2026.
