NEET 2027 Study Strategy

Phase 1 — Foundation (Aug-Dec 2026): Complete NCERT thoroughly for all 3 subjects. Make short notes for each chapter. Focus on understanding concepts, not memorizing.

Phase 2 — Practice (Jan-Mar 2027): Solve previous year NEET papers (2018-2026). Take weekly mock tests. Analyze mistakes and work on weak areas.

Phase 3 — Revision (Apr-May 2027): Revise short notes daily. Focus on high-weightage chapters. Take full-length mock tests every alternate day.

Common Mistakes in NEET

1. Ignoring NCERT: 70-80% of Biology questions come directly from NCERT. Read NCERT line by line.

2. Time mismanagement: Many students spend too much time on Physics numericals and rush through Biology. Allocate time: Bio (45 min), Chemistry (45 min), Physics (60 min).

3. Negative marking: Avoid guessing. Only attempt questions you are at least 50% sure about.

4. Not practicing OMR: Practice filling OMR sheets. Many students lose marks due to wrong bubbling.
