How to Download Answer Key

Step 1: Visit neet.nta.nic.in

Step 2: Click on "NEET (UG) 2026 Answer Key"

Step 3: Enter your Application Number and Date of Birth

Step 4: Download the answer key for your question paper set (A, B, C, or D)

How to Calculate Your Score

Formula: Score = (Correct Answers × 4) - (Wrong Answers × 1)

Example: If you got 150 correct and 30 wrong out of 180 questions:

Score = (150 × 4) - (30 × 1) = 600 - 30 = 570 marks

How to Challenge Wrong Answers

Step 1: Login to neet.nta.nic.in with your credentials

Step 2: Click on "Challenge Answer Key"

Step 3: Select the question(s) you want to challenge

Step 4: Provide your answer with supporting evidence (NCERT reference, textbook page)

Step 5: Pay ₹200 per question (refunded if challenge is accepted)

Step 6: Submit before the deadline (June 28, 2026)

Should You Challenge?

Challenge if: You are confident the answer key is wrong and you have NCERT/textbook evidence to support your answer.

Don't challenge if: You are unsure. The fee is non-refundable if the challenge is rejected. Only challenge when you have strong evidence.
