5 Mistakes Parents Must Avoid
Mistake 1: Waiting for Notification to Start Preparation — The notification comes in September/October. The exam is in January. Smart parents start 4-5 months early.
Mistake 2: Ignoring the Age Limit — Check the exact date of birth range. If your child's birthday falls outside the range (even by one day), the form will be rejected.
Mistake 3: Using Old Syllabus Books — The AISSEE pattern has changed. Always use 2027 edition books. NCERT books for Class 5 and 8 are the foundation.
Mistake 4: No Mock Test Practice — Can your child solve 125 questions in 2.5 hours under pressure? Start weekly mock tests at least 8 weeks before the exam.
Mistake 5: Ignoring Physical Fitness — After the written exam, there is a medical test. Children who are overweight or have health issues may get rejected. Start physical activity from Day 1.
